A release date is retrospective. It documents an event that occurred. KASPER's “Anticipated release date” is prospective and can change, so it should never replace a completed KCSO release entry. Likewise, a court order can authorize release before the jail records the physical departure. Read the time, status, type, and destination together.

The county's official KORA request form is the direct written channel. The linked brochure states $3.50 per report, allows a cost estimate and advance payment, and requires agency action within three business days. That period is a response deadline, not guaranteed production. A reply may give an estimate, seek clarification or prepayment, produce redacted pages, or cite a legal reason for withholding material.
Question: Does “no responsive record” prove release? No. Recheck spelling, dates, the booking agency, and the actual custodian. Kearny County's small jail can hold people for other agencies, and a Kearny arrest may lead to custody elsewhere.
Note: Request a booking photograph as a separate item because the county warns that pictures and criminal-history material can receive different access treatment.

The boarding rate shows that cross-county custody is possible. It does not prove that any named person was transferred or identify a destination. The disclaimer is part of the evidence. A match must be verified with birth, physical, case, and agency details before its status is attributed to the intended person.
Note: KASPER can preserve a discharged state record long after a local roster window, but a missing KASPER result proves nothing about jail-only custody.

Unacknowledged calls may repeat for up to 24 hours. Email does not use a PIN. VINE warns users not to rely on it alone, so call KCSO to confirm an urgent status.
